Just buy the iPhone. Since Jobs came back, I don't think Apple ever refreshed a product line less than 9 months after the initial release so that's not much of a worry. Worst case, if you really like the new model, eBay the old one for a couple of hundred $$ (or more if you unlock it) and move on.

Besides, you know you want it ;)

I was wondering when you'd finally stop using inferior blogging tools ;) You spend more time trying to create useful add-ons than publishing content.
Seriously, the natural progression is typically: Blogger -> MT -> WP. Although, LiveJournal is crawled by bots, I still consider it a walled garden, so I don't really count it. I don't forsee taking the WP plunge, I'm quite pleased with MT, especially the latest upgrade that is MT 4.0.

Regarding the iCuffs err, I mean iPhone, please don't get me started. You already know where I stand, I won't rehash it. I discussed my viewpoint in detail here.
