I use SciTE and each tab is just like a little txt file...they are just more neatly arranged. I still face the same "To shut down or not to shut down," dilemma. Also, unless your Linux computer is webfacing, your ability to access your code framents from anywhere or share them is limited.

Once again, speaking from a purely user point of view, not for my employer, I would venture to guess that GN isn't aimed at bookmarking but more of web based notetaking (hence Notebook) ;-).

Re: Reviews (Notebook, Taylor, and Grey’s Anatomy)

If the thrust of the GN value proposition is saving bookmarks, methinks you can still do more with del.icio.us, and it's already syndicated ;)

I suppose the folks at Google are targeting M$ users again. I would venture to guess, that most Linux users don't have problems organizing code fragments. Our virtual consoles which run text editors have been 'tabbed' for several years, thus you could organize them much like a notebook. No pun intended :)
